Kayaking

What a wonderful way to explore the coastal treasures of Hilton Head Island. Meander quietly through miles of natural channels in the tall, salt marsh cord grass. Feel the sea breeze cool the back of your neck as you observe playful dolphins, hundreds of birds and graceful logger head sea turtles in their natural habitat.

Hilton Head Island is one of the nation’s first ecologically-planned communities and to this day its pristine environment provides the rare enjoyment visitors are hard pressed to find anywhere else in the world.

Bring your own kayak, rent one, or even take a guided tour with experienced island naturalists. It will be an event you just might find impossible to put into words.

See the beauty of Hilton Head from a whole new perspective. Get a birds-eye look by parasail as you fly hundreds of feet above the Island ’s picturesque coastal waters. The landings are soft, the ride is quiet and the view is spectacular. It’s like skydiving without having to jump from a perfectly good airplane.
