Kids Love Hilton Head
Hilton Head is the perfect destination for families. Mom
and Dad have a great time and so do the kids. Hilton Head is fun for all
ages. In addition to the beaches, the bicycling, the nature walking, and
the exploring, there is so much more. There are nights of sing alongs under
the stars in Harbour Town and in Shelter Cove.
There are fireworks, camps teaching surfing, tennis and golf, crabbing
and shrimping plus all sorts of water adventures. The Island also has the
more traditional activities like miniature golf and arcades.
There are a dozen or more parks with ball fields and tennis courts. Kids
can try the amazing skate board park and roller hockey rink. On those rare
rainy days kids can go bowling, hit the movie theatres or visit one of
our museums specifically geared towards kids and their families.

There are 5 miniature golf courses on the island. Lots of fun “fore” the entire family.

The island is blessed with two long-time favorite family entertainers, Gregg Russell (over 25 seasons) and Shannon Tanner (over 18 seasons). These crooners-of-kids-classics, plus their own original songs, provide fun filled memories for the kid in each of us. You will find Gregg Russell under the Liberty Tree in Harbour Town (nightly except Saturdays, Memorial Day - Labor Day) and Shannon Tanner at Shelter Cove Harbor (Mondays - Fridays, April through August). Come out and sing along to your favorite children songs such as “You Are My Sunshine”, and “Is That a Booger in the Sugar? - No It’s Snot.” and many others.
